- Church’s Chicken® is currently offering 175 high-school seniors— and their parents— the chance to take some of the heat out of the cost of college tuition. From now through February 27th, students in qualifying states may apply for a $1,000 scholarship from the Church’s® Scholars Program, a program of Church’s Partners Foundation. The $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 175 high school seniors in the following participating states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, Tennessee, or Texas. The scholarship fund, seeks to help students in the communities in which Church’s Chicken® serves by providing life-changing opportunities to residents, particularly for students’ higher education.How to Apply:Students may apply now through February 27th by visiting www.scholarsapply.org/churchsscholars or through the Church’s Partners Foundation website at www.churchspartners.org. Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational/trade school in the United States during the 2015-2016 academic year. Applicants must also be legal U.S. residents and reside in one of the participating states. Final materials must be postmarked by March 1st. Scholarship award recipients will be notified in May 2015.
