  • Completed application form
  • Personal statement of at least 500 words explaining:
    • 1) Your reasons for applying for a scholarship
    • 2) Your plans for the future
    • 3) In what way you intend to be of service to LPA after graduation (i.e. volunteer at a conference, host meetings, serve as an officer)
    • 4) Any other information about yourself, your family, your background, and your educational achievements, which will help the committee become better informed about you
    • 5) If you've received an LPA scholarship in past years (list years)
  • Three letters of recommendation from: A professional reference (counselor, instructor, employer, clergy, etc), a personal reference (no family members), and a reference from a current LPA chapter president, district director, or national officer
  • High school transcripts, if you will be a freshman; OR college transcripts, if you are presently attending college

Requirements
  • As part of our service to people with dwarfism and the community at large, LPA offers educational scholarships to prospective and current students attending college or vocational school in the United States.
