  • Completed Application Form
  • Personal Statement of 500 words or less including the following information: 1) Why you want to continue your education after high school 2) What obstacles or challenges you have faced in getting and education 3) What are your personal and career goals 4) What contributions do you see yourself making to your ethnic community in the future
  •  Official school transcript
  •  Two letters of reference: at least one should be from a school official (such as a teacher, counselor, or principal), and the other can be a community leader, a minister or priest, or an employer (cannot be a family member)
  • Release Form, if under 18 years old

  •  Must graduate high school in the current school year (includes completion of GED)
  •  Must be of Southeast Asian ancestry (the applicant or at least one parent from Vietnam, Laos, or Cambodia)
  •  Must attend a high school in the Greater Philadelphia area: 1) PA counties: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery & Philadelphia 2) NJ counties: Burlington, Camden, & Gloucester
  •  Must attend a two to four-year secondary institution (college or university; community college; accredited vocational or technical school) in the Fall of the current year
