  •  Completed Scholarship Application
  •  Grade Transcript from school registrar 1. Current College students: Most recent transcript issued and printed by students schoolâs registrarâs office. HCF will not accept the University of Hawaii STAR system transcript. 2. First Year College Students: Transcript must include your senior year, Fall Semester grades. 3. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable :It must include the following: institution name/logo, your full name, class standing (i.e. grade level), course history, grades for each course, and Cumulative Grade Point Average.
  •  Note: If the transcript is not an original issued to the students by the registrarâs office, the validity of their transcript is up to the discretion of HCFâs Scholarship staff. Any transcripts under suspicion of doctoring and editing will be eliminated from review and the applicant will not be considered for awards.
  • Essay in the box indicated on the application describing students commitment to world peace and discuss how their learning experiences may lead to international understanding.
  •  Personal statement: Personal Statement, which includes students educational, career, and personal goals. The students should also include other information that will demonstrate that they are a worthy scholarship recipient. their personal statement should describe any outstanding attributes and talents. Personal Statement is not limited to answering the following questions, but they must be addressed: 1. What are the students reasons for attending college? 2. Why did the student choose their course of study? 3. What career goals do the students have?
  • Note: Required to submit a two-page (max.1,200 words)
  •  Letters of Recommendation

  • Must be graduate of Hawaii public high school and plan to attend an accredited U.S. mainland college or university
  • Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and be enrolled Full-Time
  •  Must have a permanent address in Hawaii
  •  Must have relatives living in Hawaii, if applicants taking up mainland residency
  • Must demonstrate Academic achievement , Financial need and Character
