Description

  • Completed, signed application
  • Student Aid Report (SAR) - if an SAR is not available in time to file the application, a printout of the âWeb Submission Confirmationâ showing the Expected Family Income (EFC) is acceptable, along with a copy of the submitted FAFSA application
  • School Transcript and completed Educational Report Form
  • One to two Recommendation Letter, along with recommendation form, from non-family members (ideally, one should be from a teacher, professor or individual familiar with academic performance)
  • Personal Essay of no more than two pages that should include: reasons for your choice of profession and college, why your extracurricular activities are important to you, your financial and non-financial rewards from past jobs or other circumstances, your special strengths, skills, or qualifications and your present financial need

Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and permanent resident of Colorado
  • Must be a graduating high school senior
  • Must principally reside in the State of Colorado while attending school
  • Must be between 17 and 40 years of age
  • Must carry a course load of at least nine (9) credit hours and maintain satisfactory academic progress for renewal
