Description

  •  Copies of all applicable transcripts (grade 9 through present)
  •  One recommendation
  • One-page personal statement answering âWhy I should be considered for a Navy League Foundation Scholarshipâ
  •  SAT/ACT scores (a copy of the unofficial report will suffice)
  • FAFSA information (full report including Expected Family Contribution âEFCâ is preferred; however if report is not available a copy of the completed application including parentsâ AGI will suffice)
  •  Proof of qualifying sea service duty (discharge papers, military/dependentâs ID, etc)

Requirements
  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be a dependent or direct descendant of an active, reserve, retired or honorably discharged member of the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, U.S.--Flag Merchant Marine, Marine Corps or U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps
  • Graduate from High School by the end of the school year in which you apply
  • Enter an accredited College/University in the fall
  • Have at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 grade scale (equivalent to a B average)
  • Demonstrate financial need
