Rocky Mountain College offers a variety of scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence or talent in a specific area. To be considered for RMC scholarships, a student must complete the Rocky Mountain College application for admission and financial aid. Scholarships are renewable for four years, based on satisfactory academic progress. The average financial aid award package is $24,000 (this average includes scholarships, grants, work study, and student loans).

2016-2017 First-Year Merit Scholarships
First-year students who have applied and been accepted to RMC are automatically considered for one of the following scholarships based on official high school transcripts and test scores.

2016-2017 Transfer Merit Scholarships
Transfers who have applied and been accepted to RMC are automatically considered for one of the following scholarships based on grade point average of previous college work. Scholarships apply to those students working toward their first bachelor's degree.

Transfer Merit Scholarship Levels
Trustee Scholarship:
  3.50 to 4.00 GPA
Presidential Scholarship:   
  3.00 to 3.49 GPA
Dean's Award:
  2.50 to 2.99 GPA
  $ 8,000/year
RMC Grant:
  2.00 to 2.49 GPA
  $ 5,000/year

Montana Valedictorian Scholarship
$3,000 Haynes Foundation scholarship plus $15,000 Trustee scholarship.

Priority consideration will be given to Early Action candidates. To be eligible, students must submit the following items by February 15:

Personal essay on leadership and contributions they have made to their high school and/or community;
Two letters of recommendation from high school instructors or activities advisors;
Interview with the vice president for enrollment services; and
Must maintain a 3.40 cumulative GPA to continue Haynes Foundation portion.
