When was the last time you had the chance to win $1000 for less than 1000 words? The Network of enlightened Women (NeW) works to make sure conservative college women are finding their voices and conservative views are heard on campus. NeW would like to help your voice be heard as a participant in this year's NeW Essay Contest. There will be two categories the high school contest (for high school seniors who will be freshmen during the fall semester) and for college students (students who will become sophomores juniors and seniors during the fall semester).
The purpose of this scholarship contest is to inspire college and high school women to reflect on conservative ideas campus culture and intellectual diversity. To enter you must be a legal resident of the United States (except its territories and possessions) or the District of Columbia and a female. You must be a high school student or currently enrolled in an undergraduate institution in the United States at the time of entry and you must be enrolled at or awaiting acceptance to an undergraduate institution for the fall semester. If you are under the age of 18 at the time of entry your parent or legal guardian must enter the contest and agree to these official rules on your behalf.Prize: $1000 for the first place winners of the college and high school category. The first-place essays will have the opportunity be published.Prompt: Imagine you have the chance to sit down with the next president of the United States to share your ideas on issues facing young women in America. What three policies would you discuss and why? What actions would you ask the next president to take?
