We are Making the Turn Against Parkinson's a non-profit organization dedicated to using our passion for golf to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease and positively impact the lives of Parkinson's patients and their family members throughout the state of Michigan. We are pleased to announce our scholarship awarded each year to a student submitting an essay describing their relationship with a relative who best exemplifies living well with Parkinson's.

The award is believed to be the first of its kind in Michigan targeted solely at students affected by Parkinson's. Making the Turn President Todd Gardner says "Our goal is to spark a passion for making a difference in young people who may one day be in a position to influence the fight against Parkinson's disease."Relative of a patient (living or deceased) diagnosed with Parkinson's disease-Michigan resident living in Ingham Eaton or Clinton Counties-Currently enrolled in or accepted to an institution of higher learning-Past recipients of the award will not be eligible to re-apply-Relatives of the Making the Turn board of directors officers or committee members are not eligible
