John Fischetti was a Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist whose work for many years graced the pages of the New York Herald Tribune the Chicago Daily News and the Chicago Sun-Times. He was also a man whose enthusiasm for life and generosity of spirit won him many friends.
Must be male students of full Italian ancestry or who are 50% Italian ancestry-Must be either an undergraduate in journalism or communication or a college student who has been accepted into college with the intent of establishing a major in journalism or media communications -Must be a resident of the Chicago Metropolitan area All applicants must submit a typewritten essay of 500 words on any of the following topics:1.
