In response to a critical shortage in the national demand for highly trained professionals in cybersecurity the National Science Foundation has awarded Tennessee Tech University $4 million in a grant through their CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service program. There are separate requirements for the accelerated path and tradition path programs.

General Must be a U.S. citizen-Must be prepared and willing to conduct research on novel data mining techniques in the field of cyber-security-Students must take an active role in Cybersecurity Education Research and Outreach Center (CEROC) education/outreach activities in consultation-Must have obtained an undergraduate degree in computer science or related degree and be admitted into the graduate program at TTU starting this coming January/August Scholarship benefits: -Full coverage of all tuition-$3000 health insurance reimbursement-$4000 for professional development/travel reimbursement-$2000 as book allowance-$22500 stipend (for undergraduates) and $34000 stipend (for graduate students) For more information or to apply please visit the scholarship provider's website.
