Each year, the Washington, D.C. Alumnae Panhellenic Association presents a scholarship to young women in financial need who have demonstrated outstanding academic and professional abilities and an intrinsic commitment to philanthropy and Greek Life.

Member in good standing of a fully-participating sorority of the National Panhellenic Conference-Rising sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in the upcoming fall semester-From the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area or attending school in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan areaApplicants must write an essay (250 words maximum), on 8.5 x 11" paper, with 1-inch margins, and using 12 point Times New Roman Font. The essay topic: describe a recent community service project in which you were involved, what you accomplished in the project, and why the experience was rewarding for you. Choose one category:1. Greek life, sorority, Panhellenic, collegiate2.
