Prospective MAP applicants must meet the following guidelines to apply:
Be enrolling into a participating college
Active duty, reservist, honorably discharged or retired veteran of the United States military
Likelihood of enrolling and successfully completing postsecondary education
Not be a previous recipient of any other Imagine America Foundation scholarships/awards
How do I apply?
Students may apply for the Military Award Program online. Next you will be presented with a short application form to complete. Review your completed application form making sure all your information is correct. To submit your application, select “Send Your Application.”

All Imagine America applicants will need to complete the Financial Planning Made Simple video tutorial in order to receive your award letter and certificate. You will need your application id to log in.
I am a family member of someone in the military, can I apply?
Our Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) is only for military personnel and is not extended to spouses or family members. However, The Imagine America Foundation offers two other awards to qualifying students attending a participating career college.
The Imagine America Scholarship is for current year high school graduates enrolling in a program of study at a participating career college. More information about this award is available here. You can also search for participating colleges and apply for the award here.
The Imagine America Adult Skills Education Program (ASEP) is for adult learners age 19 and over enrolling in a program of study at a participating career college. More information about this award is available at here.
More than 300 career colleges nationwide and in Puerto Rico participate in the Imagine America Military Award Program.
